On Thursday, January 17th The Inside Ride is coming to ESA. This event, organized by the Student Council, will raise funds to support of children and their families living with and beyond childhood cancer. As everyone is aware, this is a difficult time in the school system. We at SESAT are really proud of the students for organizing this initiative.
But there is more! The students are inviting parents to participate as a team. You don’t have to be an expert rider. You basically get to ride on a stationary bike for 10 minutes at your own pace.
Here are some pictures from past events.
In keeping with ESA spirit, there will be music and probably a fair bit of dancing in the aisles.
You would need to be at the school between 10:45am and 1:00pm. Here is the schedule:
11:15 – Teams to Bikes for last minute instructions
11:30 – Opening Ceremony & Dedication
11:40 – We Ride! Six rounds of cycling, 10 minutes each, at a fun pace. There’s a break between each round to switch cyclists.
12:50 – Medals* & Thanks
*Teams compete for Best Team Costumes, Best Team Spirit, Best Team Fundraising, and Best Team Mileage. Top male, female and volunteer fundraising medals round it out.
If you are interested in participating, please send your name to esainfowebmaster@gmail.com. Registration is not allowed on event day.
