TEDx Toronto: Delegate Applications Open

From the TEDx Toronto team:

In its sixth year, TEDxToronto continues to be a platform for the sharing of exceptional ideas. Our 2014 conference will feature 12 thought-provoking talks, 2 fascinating tech demos and 3 awe-inspiring performances from some of Toronto’s greatest thinkers and changemakers.

We are thrilled to announce our first round of speakers and performers who will take the stage on October 2nd, 2014, at the Royal Conservatory of Music.

One of our speakers is an esteemed newspaper publisher; one is a fifteen-year-old activist fighting for GMO labelling in Canada; one is a functional neuroimaging and diagnostic brain imaging specialist, and our first performers are a no-commitment choir that have become a city-wide phenomenon. They each have wide-reaching and real impact on individuals and communities in Toronto and beyond.

We’d like to invite you to apply to take part in this unforgettable day as a member of our audience. Please join us on October 2 as our stellar lineup of speakers and performers explores the theme of ‘Relentless Pursuits’, and share in a transformative experience with one thousand passionate Torontonians from a breadth of communities, organizations and backgrounds.

Please note that delegate applications will close on Thursday, September 4, at 11:59 p.m..
