From the invitation: Arts Etobioke invites you to explore the concepts and works of Toronto-based artist, Ariana Pickard. A Contemporary Art major at Etobicoke School of the Arts, Ariana has already made waves in Canada’s art scene with her presentation of “The Scales of Ambiguity,” for Art Talks 8 at OCADU. Using text and illustration to create pathways to explore themes of empathy, fear, guilt, and blame, Ariana Pickard has made a place for herself among Ontario’s top new artists.
