Please join us on Tuesday evening at 7pm for our first ever all grade 11 Art Talk at Neilson Park Creative Centre
The talk itself takes place amidst the 80 works in our grade 11 exhibition – there will be lots to see and consider in what should be a wonderful evening.
Friday afternoon saw perhaps one of the most intense we have had for a while. Parker-Lily Tuson-Morse was preparing for her group show opening that took place yesterday in Mississauga, Isabella Vella spent the afternoon shipping then installing her work at Arts Etobicoke for her solo exhibition opening February 20, one of our grade 11’s was flying down to Philadelphia for the opening of an exhibition that three of us are in at Drexel University, Meredith Tudor Doonan found out she will have one of her works published in a British art magazine, Luca Soldovieri broke $1 000 000 in scholarship offers so far this year, Mr Novak was packaging up the 30 or so art works that we will ship down to New York City tomorrow for our exhibition right near the New Museum in the Bowery with Teen Art Gallery, I had rented a truck and packed up and delivered eight art works to Artscape Youngspace for the Arts Etobicoke exhibition there, while the grade 11’s practiced their Art Talks (all beautiful) and Mel presented to the grade 12’s the type face and some of the music they had made for the Etobicoke Fashion Show, which we received really exciting news about (the fashion show) while I was at Artscape. Big announcement coming soon! Grad Jean-Luc Lindsay’s exhibition at Project Gallery continues to the 17th, and grads Spencer Julien and Jaime Pattison had an opening as part of a group exhibition Friday night at Beaver Hall Gallery. Whew.
We hope that you will join us on Tuesday evening for Art Talk 10!
