The Dance Department’s performance of Dance Night 2024 will showcase choreography by our Dance department staff and guest choreographers and will feature our dance company, DancESAtion, our hip hop crew, Refresh, as well as each of our classes, grades 9-12, and some of our alumni!

Act 1 will feature Rite of Spring and a small collection of other works. Rite of Spring is an impressionistic dance work that focuses on telling an abstract story of a community that is linked together by nature, using the musical work of Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.

Act 2 is inspired by themes from Rocky Horror Picture Show. It is a search for confidence and individuality and celebrates the importance of human connection and community. This act celebrates diversity in our ever-changing spaces in the world and is centered around the film’s most important quote; “Don’t Dream It, Be It”.
