Drama Department Excursion to Stratford Festival Sept. 20th & 21st, 2013

Drama Majors entering grade 11 are invited to join the Stratford Festival Excursion departing Friday, September 20th in the morning and returning Saturday, September 21st in the evening. Students will attend the musical Tommy at the Avon Theatre and the closing performances of both Waiting for Godot and Measure for Measure at The Tom Patterson theatre. Students will be given a tour of the extensive costume and prop warehouse; as well, students will participate in a fight workshop conducted by professional fight choreographers. The price also includes return bus fare, one night accommodation at The Albert Street Inn, and one buffet lunch catered by the Stratford Festival. Rooming assignments will be arranged with Mr. Black during the first week of school.

Students who join the excursion will be permitted to use one of the productions for their 1st term play review.

Total Cost: $250 (Note: the price does not include lunch and dinner on Friday Sept. 20th or breakfast on Saturday Sept. 21st)

There are nine spots still available for the excursion. Students who are interested in participating must contact Mr. Black immediately at darren.black@tdsb.on.ca. Spots will be reserved first come, first served. Full cost of the excursion must be paid on the first day of school. Permission forms will be handed out on Sept. 4th.
