Thanks to everyone for a great first week back at school!
I hope that our new students and their families are having a positive and smooth transition to ESA and that our returning students and their families are as happy to be back as I am.
At Friday’s lunch our Student Council organized a fantastic Welcome Back BBQ. Most students participated and had a great time playing on the field and connecting with their teachers and friends in a relaxed setting; it was a wonderful way to round out the week as we all get back into school mode!
Next week, our Grade 9s will have another opportunity to meet students outside of their Majors during the trip to Centre Island; there is no cost for this trip, but students do need to hand in their permission forms to their homeform teachers by Wednesday, September 10. (Permission forms for this trip went home with students on Friday.)
