This program benefits family members by providing the skills, knowledge, and assistance necessary to navigate the system, make informed decisions, and build strong support networks during this most difficult period.

The Family Matters Peer Support and Recovery Program developed out of an extensive needs assessment that identified family members and caregivers as individuals who are in need of vital support services while caring for their loved ones. The program began in January 2014 and is funded by the Toronto Central Local Health Integrated Network (TC LHIN).

You will have the opportunity to meet and hear from some of their current families and caregivers, as well as, meet the clinical program manager and support staff for The Family Matters Program.
