ESA Film’s annual celebration of our students’ work is nearly open us. Film Week runs May 30th, May 31st and June 1st in the auditorium and will showcase a unique set of films on each night. Each show will feature the work of the 9s, 10s and 11s (along with some Grade 12 gems and scattered throughout). There will be something for everyone – from docs to comedies, dramas to experimental films.
Following the conclusion of Thursday’s screening, the Shaftesbury awards will be presented. Shaftesbury Films has been presenting “Best in Show Awards” at the conclusion of ESA’s Film Week since 2012. An independent jury of industry professionals watch the work of each grade and select a “best in show” winner. It’s like ESA’s very own mini Oscars.
Tickets are available in the foyer at lunch and at ESA info.ca.
