Hi everybody
We are hours away from our Fourth Annual Portfolio Day.
These events are so massive in magnitude and effort that the real cost will never be known.
How many hours times how many kids, how much support from friends and family, how many flights to Toronto from around North America and places beyond, how many hotel rooms, how many paint brushes and metres of inkjet paper, how many conversations has this taken to come together?
I want to thank everyone in the ESA community for everything you do to help us make this happen. These kids, these children or young adults have done something remarkable, something more than we can reasonably expect them to do. They have signed up to see a dozen strangers tomorrow who may represent their future.
That takes guts. It is a leap of faith. It is a willingness to take risks and make mistakes and accept feedback from professionals and to be vulnerable and absolutely exposed for seven hours straight and I hope that you are able to come and say congratulations tomorrow night between 7pm and 8pm Friday November 8th, here at ESA. It will be worth it.
