REMINDER… Join us – after school – on Friday May 27th to rake, weed, edge and generally clean up the front gardens. We’re going to get started straight away, but we’ll probably be working until close to 6pm.
Normally we garden on Saturday morning. We’ve pushed the date back in advance of the Giant Community Yard Sale, on Saturday May 28th. Come out and help us put ESA’s best face forward for Saturday morning.
Wear mucky clothes, bring garden gloves and a kanteen. Bring garden tools if you are able, else we have a limited supply.
Meet on the front lawn, rain or shine (unless it’s pouring cats and dogs!).
P.S. The City does not collect yard waste from schools. We’ll also be looking for some curbsides nearby where we can farm out our yard waste bags after the clean-up. If you live locally and could handle a few bags to put out on your yard collection day, please send an e-mail to enid.wray@tdsb.on.ca to advise. Thanks in advance.
