Wednesday night is ESA Film’s Grad Gala. If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket, please join us at the theatre around 7:15ish. Because TIFF requires our patrons to use their proprietary tickets, all current ticket holders (whether purchased online or at school) will have to sign in and exchange tickets prior to the event. A slightly early arrival will insure that we’re able to start the screening promptly at 7:30.
As for Film Week, two nights are in the books and the third is only one sleep away. Thursday nights of Film Week are often the most exciting as the Shaftesbury Best in Show Awards are presented. This will be the eighth time Shaftesbury – one of Canada’s most important and exciting content producers (and a firm believer in ESA Film’s mandate since Day One) – has sponsored and presented these awards. It promises to be, as always, an incredible celebration of ESA’s filmmaking talent.
To get you in the mood for the Grad Gala, here’s a little something from Clare Dawson’s One Good Night.
And to preview a little of Film Week‘s final night, here’s a small sample of Bronwyn Tyndall’s Return to Sender.
