On Friday, September 13th, ESA’s Student Council and School Administration host the third annual Grade 9 Day on Centre Island. The day is a chance for our new students to share in fun team building and spirit rousing activities in the beautiful environment of the Toronto Islands. All Grade 9 students will receive a letter and permission form today in home form outlining the day’s activities, led by our Student Council, senior students and staff. There is no cost to the student – all costs for the games, ferry and BBQ lunch are covered. Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm!
Students will NOT come to school that day, but will meet at the Ferry Docks before 9 am. They will be dismissed at 3 pm from the docks, just a short walk to Union Station. In the event of rain, a decision to cancel will be made by 6 am on the day of the event and posted here on the website. Students will be expected to be at school for a regular day.
