Free Comic Book Day is right around the corner… as is TCAF – the Toronto Comic Arts Festival.
- In honour of all things graphic… tomorrow morning, Wednesday May 3rd… the book sale bin on the upper level of the Library will feature a selection of brand new graphic novels… nothing more than $2.
- The Library will also be giving away 25 Free Comic Book Day comic bundles on Friday morning… to the first 25 people who come to the ESA Library looking for them.

To celebrate TCAF and Free Comic Book Day, the ESA Library is holding a contest… and three lucky winners will walk away with a Free Comic Book on Friday May 5th.
The grand prize is an Uncorrected Proof copy of Jeff Lemire’s just released Roughnecks… complete with a personal dedication (to the ESA Library) and a quick sketch of the author, drawn by the author himself, when he signed the book for me (Ms. Wray) at my Library Conference earlier this year.
This contest is ONLY open to students (sorry Staff, Parents and Grads… not this time around).
- Submit your entry using this Google Form by the end of day on Thursday May 4th.
- Winners will be announced on the morning announcements on Friday May 5th.
