The Great Basket Challenge

Have You Heard of The Great Basket Challenge of 2014?

A few weeks ago, SESAT (Supporters of ESA Talent) challenged each major – dance, drama, film, music, music theatre and visual arts – and each grade level through their department heads (ACL’s) as well as other departments, student clubs, teams, ensembles, etc.  to assemble an amazing, creative, fun “themed” basket that could be auctioned off as part of the Silent Auction and Craft Fair on November 22.

So far, the Library has been talking real trash and are pretty confident they will run away with the win!

Haven’t heard about this, but anxious to see whether the Grade Nines have more spirit than all the other classes or whether your major is truly the best when it comes to supporting your school?

Parents and students, your teachers are busy, so why not take matters into your own hands and work together.  What about creating a “Pasta Perfect” themed basket with dried pastas, jarred sauces, olive oil and colander … or a “Coffee Lovers” basket with mugs, gourmet coffee and biscotti?  You get the idea.

Get creative, have fun AND come out and bid for your basket! The class/basket/organization that earns the highest bid will receive bragging rights for the year, the satisfaction of knowing you have made a difference, our sincere gratitude and a surprise!

All baskets are due into the office by Friday, November 21, 2014.
