There are a number of great community-based agencies that help support mental health. Some of these include Help Ahead and the TDSB Wellbeing Resources as well as the suggested list below.
George Hull Centre:

The Community Clinic offers clinical services to families with children and youth from birth through 18 who are experiencing significant emotional, behavioural, developmental and/or psychiatric difficulties.

Non-residential program, developed meet the needs of youth, aged 13 to 25, and their family members and friends who are struggling with substance use concerns. Youthdale Treatment Centres:
Youthdale provides comprehensive, integrated mental health services to troubled children and their families. They also simplify access to services by connecting families with the right programs and services at Youthdale and in their communities.
Parents and legal guardians who need urgent help can call our Crisis Service Line 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 416-363-9990. Youthdale’s Intake Co-ordinator is available to discuss treatment options during regular business hours at (416) 368-4896.
Trillium Health Centre – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services:
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services provides outpatient services for children and adolescents up to age 19, and their families, who live in Mississauga and south Toronto. Children must have either a diagnosed psychiatric condition, or significant symptoms or unusual behaviour indicative of a psychiatric condition. Treatment may include individual, family or group therapy, psychiatric assessment, psychological testing and medication consultation and follow up. Services also include community outreach, education and collaboration with other agencies and schools. Appointments for assessments are scheduled during the day; follow-up appointments are available during the day and on Tuesday and Thursday.
Referrals: This service is one of six agencies to launch a ‘one phone number’ approach to enable easier access to mental health services in the community for children and youth. Referrals to the outpatient service can be made by professionals, parents or guardians. All referrals require a written referral from a physician before being seen by a psychiatrist.

Services include:
• Community Counselling, which offers support to youth from 12 to 18 years of age who face challenges that cannot be addressed by traditional approaches. We support these youth through outreach, individual counselling and group work in the community and in schools.
• New Outlook, which provides a wide variety of programs to youth from 14 to 24 recovering from serious mental illness, primarily psychotic disorders.
• Pride & Prejudice, which offers programs for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and questioning youth from 13 to 24.
• Youth Justice, which offers support to youth who are serving a youth order and/or have matters before the youth court.
