Ms. Hogg’s Grade 9 Drama Majors Showcase

The season of class Drama Showcases begins again this afternoon and evening with the first presentation by Ms. Hogg’s Grade 9 Drama majors. The Side Effects of Lying is a fresh take on some much-loved traditional fairy tales. The students explore (and re-arrange) ten fairy tales written by Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm in the early 1800’s. Ms. Hogg and her students have been working tirelessly over the last three and a half weeks to mount this engaging and humorous production. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students at the door. Show times for Wednesday February 27th are 4pm and 7pm in the Mini Theatre. The production is approximately one hour in length.

Ms. Bourne and her grade 9 class will continue the Drama Showcase season next Wednesday, March 6th with their ensemble production. Times, ticket prices and location are the same for both grade 9 showcases. Come out for some great theatre and cheer on these wonderful first year Drama Majors!
