The ESA parents’ School Council is pleased to announce that we have an informative and thought provoking parent information session for you.
Dr. Taylor Armstrong from the George Hull centre will be speaking on the topic of “Adolescent Anxiety: A Guide for Parents”. The presentation will take place in the library on February 26 at 7:30 pm
Dr Armstrong is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the George Hull centre and a faculty member with the University of Toronto in the Department of Psychiatry. The George Hull centre is a children’s mental health agency that is located in Etobicoke.
Parents are invited to submit their questions for Dr. Armstrong in advance of his presentation so that we can ensure he covers the topics and issues of greatest concern to you.
If you have a question you would like to put to Dr. Armstrong, please send it in an email to Simon Anderson, the School Council Chair at simon.anderson@sympatico.ca and he will ensure the questions are passed on to Dr. Armstrong. We look forward to seeing you on Feb 26th.
P.S.
There will be a School Council meeting on Feb 12. All parents and guardians are welcome to join us to discuss what is happening at the school and raise topics of concern to the parents.
