Thursday April 21st is Poem in Your Pocket Day. Originating in NYC in 2002, the movement spread across the US in 2008 and this year has been picked up by the League of Canadian Poets as part of their National Poetry Month Celebrations.
Participate by:
- posting a pocket sized copy of your favourite poem in a public place
- add a poem to your e-mail footer
- post lines from your favourite poem on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Tumblr
- send a poem to a friend.
