Resources for parents

Welcome parents and guardians of new and returning students!

Don’t know your Festive from your Opus, your SESAT from your DanESAtion?

The school website, esainfo.ca, has a wealth of resources to help you navigate what promises to be another wonderful school year at the Etobicoke School of the Arts.

Among the resources on the site:

A description of all the different arts performances that take place throughout the year. This page was created at the suggestion of a parent, and is a tremendous resource.

There are many ways for parents and guardians to be involved in school life. Learn about SESAT, the parent-run registered charity that runs events to raise money for our children’s arts majors. Information about the upcoming Craft Fair and Silent Auction can be found here.

The site also features an introduction to the School Council, which offers a friendly, informative venue to learn about school operations. Meetings are held most months, and everyone is welcome.

Academic requirements and course summaries can be found on pages devoted to specific subject areas, such as science and languages.

Don’t forget to check out the calendar, which lists everything from event dates to the roster of universities making school visits this fall.

Please note that the while this is the school’s website, it is managed by a parent volunteer. The content that you receive through the esainfo news feed is provided by many members of the school community. If you are interested in helping with the website, please send a note to Principal MacKinnon.

If you wish to reach the school, please check the contact information on the home page and email or call directly.
