Shine: An Evening Celebrating ESA comes to the Winter Garden Theatre on Thursday May 28th for one night only!. Featuring a starry lineup of alumni and current students, this evening celebrates the arts and raises much-needed funds for capital improvements to our beloved school. Here is the first in a weekly series of introductions to our special guest performers.
Michael Therriault graduated from ESA in Music Theatre in 1992. His theatre credits include eight seasons at The Stratford Festival; Leo Bloom in THE PRODUCERS (Mirvish); Gollum in LORD OF THE RINGS (Toronto and London’s West End); Motel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Broadway) and Irving Berlin in THE TIN PAN ALLEY RAG (Roundabout Theatre Co NY). On television, Michael played Tommy Douglas in the CBC mini-series PRAIRIE GIANT: THE TOMMY DOUGLAS STORY; Lord Castleroy in REIGN (on the CW network) and will soon be seen as Klaus Blinsky in the Netflix series HEMLOCK GROVE.
