Learn more about youth substance use and its effects; expand your understanding of the risks and current research related to youth substance use; hear about and discuss parenting issues and communication strategies for addressing this inevitable fact of teen life. Substance use has become a common fact of teen life. Make sure you and your teen understand the impacts on their minds, bodies, and still developing brains.
Due to the positive response after her September presentation and the request from parents for more opportunity to address this issue, Gayla Forer from Breakaway will return on December 10th. We trust you will find the information she has to share eye opening and invaluable. There will be time for questions and discussion. If you have any particular questions or themes you hope Gayla will address please email them to us ASAP at council@esainfo.ca.
