For two Saturdays in September 20-30 ESA Visual Art students assisted architect and artist Philip Beesley (https://www.philipbeesleyarchitect.com/sculptures/index.php) in the creation of an art installation destined for a new store in the West Edmonton Mall. The days were long but we were able to participate in the construction of a significant installation and become familiar with materials and processes that helped us expand our understanding of what is possible. Everyone enjoyed themselves and learned a great deal. We hope that we will be able to work with Mr. Beesley again in the future.
